Government looking into immigration laws.

While looking over Arizona's controversial new immigration law, the Obama administration is looking to the Supreme Court to make a ruling that the federal government is the only entity that can penalize employers who know they are hiring undocumented immigrants. The Justice Department told the court in a filing last week that Arizona's new immigration law would interrupt a mindful harmony that Congress agreed upon in the 1986 federal immigration act. With no safeguards, the Justice Department went on to say that these types of laws could make employers afraid to hire minorities. The Justice Department's summary is a substantial show that the federal government wants exclusive authority in immigration enforcement.
