Victories

Talk is cheap for immigrants.

Can any United States citizen imagine being hounded down where they are employed or being woken up out of your own bed by unknown people and made to show proof of citizenship? And yet this is what happens to a huge number of Hispanics in America. Oh, it does not matter if they are documented or undocumented, it appears we do not discriminate in this case for immigrants. And let's not even worry about a little thing like the Fourth Amendment. For those unaware of this little amendment to our Constitution that prohibits warrantless intrusions into private homes and that includes everyone and it does not matter a persons immigration status. Now Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has vigorously ramped up prosecutions by conducting raids at jobsites and homes. ICE is known to target on mainly Hispanic communities and jobsites. They have went into people's homes with no justified warrants. They have used many dirty tactic of influence, threats or terrorizing people already frightened to "allow" ICE officials to come into their homes so the officials can conduct interrogations about their immigration status. You know looking Hispanic or Mexican is definitely not a crime and does not justify "probable cause" to question someone or detaining them. Everyone wants to proclaim we live in the Greatest Country in the World. Our Constitution guarantees everyone is given equal protection under the law regardless of race, greed and color of their skin, it is high time we stand up to these high ideals.
