This number almost doubled their past monies spent in the same time period buy the biggest microprocessor maker. Intel has increased lobbying as the push for high-speed Internet positioning has gotten to be a huge issue for lawmakers and technology businesses. It would stand to reason that Intel would gain from more Internet connections all over the globe because more people will purchase even more machines that has Intel chips in them to access the internet. Intel has also sought after lobbyists to get some form of comprehensive immigration reform passed. Technology businesses will typically lobby for rules that take away restrictions to employ skilled foreign workers in America. Intel had given out nearly $600,000 on lobbying in the last quarter of 2008. Intel Corporation is the largest microprocessor maker on the globe.
