Victories

The fallout is starting to hit Arizona in the pocketbook.

With Arizona's new immigration bill passed into law, people from around the country have started to cancel business trips and hotel reservations. Some cities have even forbid public employees from going on company trips to Arizona. Others want to stop the upcoming Republican National Convention in 2012 and and Major League Baseball's 2011 All-Star Game from being picked for Phoenix. Last year Arizona had over thirty-seven million domestic and international out of towners coming to their state. It is estimated that around eighteen and a half billion was generated and an almost one and a half billion in local and state tax revenues, by estamites from Hotel Owners Association. The boycott is already starting to hurt the hotel industry, but isn't really going to do anything for their immigration problem. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is dumbfound why people are boycotting her racist state because of this new immigration law. One hotel in Phoenix, the Clarendon Hotel, has admitted they have already lost eighty reservations and that was in just one day the past week.
