Brewer's immigration law taking a beating in appeals court.

Monday, the 9th United States Circuit Court of Appeals tipped part of its hand that the 3 judge panel was prepared to throw out part of Arizona's law that would make it against the law not to have immigration papers on your person proving you are lawfully living in the United States. With Arizona's governor, Jan Brewer showing up for this appeal hearing and more importantly hoping that this controversial law will help her win the governorship for her first full term over her Democratic opponent Terry Goddard. It is still up in the air how the judges will rule on other aspects of Arizona's immigration law. After the thrashing that Brewer endured from this hearing, and obviously seeing the writing on the wall, she vowed she would take the case all the way to the Supreme Court. I guess no one has explained to her that it only gets harder and harder to win your case at that level when you don't have a leg to stand on in the lower courts. It appears Brewer is ok with wasting her states funds on legal fees and not on helping fix the real problem with the broken immigration system.
