Victories

True colors of Tea Partiers coming out more and more.

This past election cycle was very rough in so many aspects. It is no wonder many American's felt their voice was not heard by the top two party's and spawned of the so called Tea Party. This disorganized group that had only an alliance to take back their government for the common man (person). Now that sounded all well and good and even a noble ideal. But as this party gets more and more publicity and is brought out in the light for the main stream public to view their thoughts and ideals the picture starts to change drastically. And so it is already beginning with a number of Tea Party patriots in Washington D.C. who just last week told two Hispanic Texas congressmen to "Go back to Mexico" when they were going to vote on the House floor. Hinojosa, D-Mercedes, said he and Congressman Silvestre Reyes, D-El Paso, were confronted by five Tea Party supporters. "There were five men, all white," Hinojosa said. "They first asked Silvestre Reyes, 'Are you a congressman?' 'Yes, I'm from Texas,' he answered. 'Are you both congressmen?' 'Yes, I am a congressman too,' Hinojosa replied. 'Why don't you go back to Mexico?,'" they said. Really? Is this really what this party is all about, prejudice and hatred, is this what America is turning into? America is the melting pot of immigrants and this is what Americans are pinning their hopes and dreams on? Racism? Really?
