Rupert Murdoch believes immigration reform is needed.
It may be hard to believe but the man who is the head of News Corp. and Fox News is a very strong supporter of Comprehensive Immigration Reform. He has even been before a congressional hearing regarding immigration in the United States. So with so many shows on his network that are anti-immigration and some just out and out spouting hatred, it is hard to understand this paradox. He has said that since he is an immigrant, he feels a calling to stand up for immigrants and immigration is the United States, to keep this great country a leader in business and a country people seek to find a better life for themselves and their families. He believes that the borders must be secure and actions taken to stop undocumented immigrants from being hired by employers. Mr Murdoch is one of many in the business community along with mayors who agree that Comprehensive Immigration Reform is needed to give a pathway to undocumented immigrants so that they can become US citizens.
