GOP kills DREAM Act.

With the possibilities of young kids hopes of staying in the only country they have known ripped away from them. The GOP was successful in their bid to stop the much needed DREAM Act Bill by killing the defense bill it was attached to yesterday. Democrats were unsuccessful to even get one Republican to vote for this bill. The Democrats need 60 votes to keeping the DREAM ACT bill alive. The final tally was 56-43 with Arkansas Democratic Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor who went against part lines and sided with Republicans. The DREAM Act was intended to permit youths to become legal United States residents if they went to college or served in the arm forces for two years. We shall see how this plays out in the Hispanice and Latino communities. The GOP is hoping that this community will be so disgruntled that they will not come out and vote. Will this community do just that or will they stand up and let there voice be heard and show the GOP they know who truely stands against them? Time will tell in just a mere 50 days until the midterm elections.

GOP mata DREAM Act.
