Victories

Senate might get to vote on immigration proposal.

Yesterday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D), announced he will introduce legislation to assist undocumented students by way of the DREAM Act next week. The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors or DREAM Act as it is more commonly known would give a way for citizenship to children of undocumented immigrants by no fault of their own except being born, if they attend college or the miltary. The time is now for this bill to be passed and it is long overdue. Reid commented that we are gonna talk the talk and walk the walk by allowing anyone that wants to serve the country two years in the miltary a way to be able to get their green card. Reid is in a close fight with Sharron Angle (R) in Nevada. She is totally against the DREAM Act bill and calls it amnesty for illegals. She is looking for support from the Latino and Hispanic communties, which has over a quarter of the population in Nevada. It should be noted that just four years ago Ms. Angle was against having any election materials available in Spanish, her true colors it would appear.
