Denish, Martinez differ on immigration fix.

Well, as in other heated midterm races this election year, New Mexico's governors race appears to be no different in regards to the immigration issue coming into play. Both candidates Lt. Governor Diane Denish (D) and Susana Martinez (R) do agree that the immigration system is not working and that Washington needs to correct it. They also believe that undocumented immigrants should not be granted driver licenses but after that things divert in opposite directions. Denish wants the issue looked over to find a real solution to this issue while Martinez stance is that undocumented immigrants should be made to return back to their native country and accuire a legal green card or visa in any immigration reform solution. She also believes that that anyone in the United States now should have the ability to return while getting a legal status but she does not want to encourage more people to come into the country undocumented. Martinez is ridge on her stance that an undocumented immigrant must return back to their home country to start the process. She took a very strong stance during her bid in the primaries to secure her partys nomination. Now it seems she has flip-flopped on her tough stance saying she would now support an avenue in which undocumented immigrants could come back into the country under a guest or temporary visa. Denishes stance is that the federal government needs to address this issue and pass an Immigration Reform bill that will process the millions of undocumented immgrants in the country. Most have been here working and living productive lives while paying their taxes, there must be a humane way to address this serious issue. Time will tell how this important issue plays out in our upcoming election.

Denish quiere que el tema miró para encontrar una solución real a esta cuestión, pero la postura Martínez es que los inmigrantes indocumentados deben ser realizados para volver a su país natal y accuire una tarjeta de Residencia Permanente o visa legal en cualquier solución de la reforma migratoria. Ella también cree que que cualquier persona en los Estados Unidos debe ahora tener la posibilidad de regresar al obtener un estatus legal, pero ella no quiere animar a más personas a entrar en el país indocumentados. Martínez se cerro en su postura de que un inmigrante indocumentado debe volver a su país de origen para iniciar el proceso. Ella tomó una posición muy fuerte durante su campaña en las primarias para asegurar su nominación fiestas. Ahora parece que ha cambiado de idea sobre su dura postura diciendo que ahora apoyaría una avenida en la que los inmigrantes indocumentados podrían volver al país en virtud de un invitado o visa temporal. Denishes postura es que el gobierno federal tiene que abordar esta cuestión y aprobar una ley de reforma migratoria que procesará a los millones de indocumentados immgrants en el país. La mayoría han estado aquí trabajando y viviendo una vida productiva, mientras que el pago de sus impuestos, tiene que haber una manera humana para hacer frente a este grave problema. El tiempo dirá cómo este tema tan importante juega en nuestra próxima elección.
