Right wing charges administration of bypassing immigration laws.

Earlier this week 17 conservative organizations quoted reports that the Obama administration is thinking about using executive power to give a path to legalization to a large numbers of undocumented aliens. This action was taken because they believe that the administration is planning to use its administrative authority to bypass immigration restrictions because of Congress's inability to put together a comprehensive reform bill. They implored that the President not go this route because they believe it to be an abuse of power and would hurt the immigration issue. They went on to say that only Congress has the power to change immigration law. How ironic that these are the same people crying that Congress has failed the country on the immigration issue due to their ineffectiveness and cite that as a main reason for states to be able to write their own immigration laws! To put this in perspective one of the organizations leader, a Mr. Roy Beck, head of NumbersUSA alledly has said that the current administration is scared that the undocumented immigrant population is decreasing and the administration wants them to remain in the country so they will get amnesty and then vote for Democrats later on. First off how narrow minded are you to have this belief of the country's huge immigration problem and secondly these are the same people that say that undocumented immigrants are swamping our borders coming into the country. You can NOT have it both ways, it just shows how ignorant and or biased your opinion is on this subject matter. All this hype from conservatives is from an internal memo from Homeland Security. This was the agency responsible for drafting the memo and they said in a press release last month that the document was simply brainstorming and has no intention to grant deferred action or humanitarian parole to the countries total undocumented immigrant population.
