Victories

Even a kook can have a moment of clarity.

Well in a stunning show of clarity and doing the right thing Arizona's Governor Jan Brewer (R) earlier this week vetoed two controversial bills. The first bill would have made it mandatory to have proof of United States citizenship if someone runs for the highest office in the country. The second one was a bit unbelievable that it was even introduced as bill! It would have permitted anyone be able to carry a gun on college and university campuses. What were they smoking when they wrote that bill up? Do they not remember the recent shooting in their own state of Arizona? I have no doubt that Republican heads imploded when these two bills got shoot down by one of their own. It also appears since the GOP is hurting for any viable candidates for the upcoming Presidential elections in 2012 that they are bring up any issue to try to discredit the President, and with Republicans not being very original they are just going to their old play book of questioning if President Obama is a native-born United States citizen. If this is all the GOP has they are in a world of hurt in 2012.
