Detroit has long been known as the Motor City but that title may be changed to the Stalker Capital USA. It appears that a handful of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents followed parents of children that are enrolled in a charter public school. They were grabbing people and arresting them as undocumented immigrants. Some people were so terrified that they were apprehensive about leaving the school because they did not know what was going on. Some were just plain afraid they may be arrested. To make matters worse the ICE agents did not even have warrants. The Director of Public Affairs commented that he will be conduct an investigation in regard to the allegations of the inappropriate behavior of the agents. He went on to say that while on the face of it some things were properly done while others were not. What he was referring to is that ICE strictly prohibits agents from conducting their affairs regarding matters of immigration around schools unless they have direct orders to do so.

Algunas personas estaban tan aterrorizados que eran aprensivos acerca de dejar la escuela porque no sabía lo que estaba pasando. Algunos eran simplemente miedo de que puede ser detenido. Para empeorar las cosas los agentes de ICE no tenía ni orden judicial. El Director de Relaciones Públicas comentó que se realice una investigación en cuanto a los alegatos de la conducta inapropiada de los agentes. Él continuó diciendo que, si bien en la cara de ella algunas cosas se hicieron correctamente, mientras que otros no lo eran. Lo que él se refería era a que el ICE estrictamente prohíbe a los agentes de llevar a cabo sus asuntos en materia de inmigración alrededor de las escuelas a menos que tengan órdenes directas a hacerlo.
