Troubles For Martinez's Driver License Policy, Conclusion.

While the majority of Democrats in the State Legislature have battled New Mexico governor Susana Martinez (R-NM) on all her tries to get rid of the driver licensing law, most Democrats have stated it should not be changed on the grounds of humanitarian reasons. One such Senator is Tim Jennings, (D-Roswell), who has commented that some families can have a mixture of legal and illegal residents in a home. By stripping someone's driver's license away from them could possibly be taking away that homes income. One of the main reasons this law came in to being is for the mere fact that our immigration system is broken, he went on to say. Another major factor for this law was for Public safety reasons. An undocumented immigrant is a lot more likely to purchase car insurance with a valid drivers license, this only helps protect everyone. It was crystal clear early on that when Martinez when she did not support a proposal to stop fraud and punish those that commit fraud and keep its citizens protected where should stood on this matter. It just shows she is not willing to compromise on her stance and will only be happy when this law gets repealed.

Eso demuestra que no está dispuesto a ceder en su postura y sólo será feliz cuando esta ley se deroga.

Hello, I felt compelled to send a letter in the mail and share my experience with Kretz & Romero for anyone looking for a good immigration law firm. I found Kretz & Romero strictly by the internet, when I did a Google search for an immigration attorney in the Roswell area. I was rather impressed by their dominance in the search engines and I was compelled to give them a call especially after reading their testimonial section of their website. I have only been a client of theirs since March of 2011 but have already seen great results after they processed my filing so rapidly. Another big plus for me was being able to be in contact with my attorney (Cathy) if a question came up, that was very important to me. I had heard that the attorneys at Kretz and Romero were great on numerous occasions. I was in need of getting my green card and after talking to family and friends they had also mentioned that they thought I should go see Kretz & Romero to help me to get my green card. Then I saw them on TV and decided to give them a call. After talking to one of the attorneys I felt very comfortable hiring them to help me get my green card. All the staff at Kretz and Romero are very nice and they always answer the phone and answered all my questions. I now have my green card so I'm able to work now. I think if I chose any other immigration attorney my process would have been slower and I wouldn't have my green card already. I have been a client of Kretz & Romero Law P.C. for about four months. My husband got picked up by ICE in September 2012. I didn't want him to get deported because he had been deported before. I think I called about every immigration attorney I could possibly call and they all told me that they could not help me. Several people told me to call Kretz & Romero.
