Alabama Businesses Want Harsh Immigration Laws Changed.

The Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) want changes to Alabama's racist immigration law. The BBA made it clear in a statement that Alabama Legislature needs to make some serious corrections and revisions to the state's controversial immigration law when the legislative session begins back up in 2012 . The biggest business organization in the seven-county metro area made it crystal clear that employers in the area are very displeased in regards to new immigration law and all the negative ramifications that have come from it and all the harsh penalties being put on employers, especially those employers and companies still struggling in this economy. The BBA also went on to say that business leaders do not believe the new immigration law, as it is presently written shows true fairness and compassion of families that is embraced by Alabama citizens. As we have blogged about recently in regards to Alabama's racist new immigration law and the poor image it is now receiving the BBA too is also very concerned over the states tainted image both nationally and internationally. The BBA went on to say that they feel the harsh penalties placed on businesses is injustice and unwarranted, which says nothing about the amount of burden place on state and local agencies to enforce such laws financially.
