Illegal Crossings Into US-Mexico Hits All Time Low

While some ponder over if the presence of the National Guard has helped curtail undocumented immigrants from coming into the United States or not. Some believe is it just the fact that it comes down to pure economics with the United States sluggish economy which has helped bring an all time low to undocumented immigrants trying to cross into the United States from Mexico. It is really the classic question of which came first the chicken or the egg. If it is truly just the economy that has brought this record low number does that mean that all the billions of dollars that the extreme right wanted thrown at this issue was just a waste of taxpayer money? With the numbers out from United States immigration officials it shows that arrests are down since 1972 for immigrants. Even more revealing is that arrested for fiscal year 2011, which ended on September 30 was at a little over 327,000 arrests in contrast to 1.6 million in under President George W. Bush (R-TX). Since the 1,200 Guardsmen were deployed to help control the border it is reported that they helped capture 25,514 undocumented immigrants at a price of $160 million, which equates to $6,271 per capture, that is a rather hefty price tag by anyone standards. Because of these numbers both of reduced arrests and the expensive price of manpower to maintain this presence it only makes sense with less people trying to cross the border illegally the Obama Administration has decided to reduce the number of troops on the ground and rely more on technology such as aerial surveillance along with other technologies to accomplish this job at a much cheaper cost to the taxpayers.

Hello, I felt compelled to send a letter in the mail and share my experience with Kretz & Romero for anyone looking for a good immigration law firm. I found Kretz & Romero strictly by the internet, when I did a Google search for an immigration attorney in the Roswell area. I was rather impressed by their dominance in the search engines and I was compelled to give them a call especially after reading their testimonial section of their website. I have only been a client of theirs since March of 2011 but have already seen great results after they processed my filing so rapidly. Another big plus for me was being able to be in contact with my attorney (Cathy) if a question came up, that was very important to me. I had heard that the attorneys at Kretz and Romero were great on numerous occasions. I was in need of getting my green card and after talking to family and friends they had also mentioned that they thought I should go see Kretz & Romero to help me to get my green card. Then I saw them on TV and decided to give them a call. After talking to one of the attorneys I felt very comfortable hiring them to help me get my green card. All the staff at Kretz and Romero are very nice and they always answer the phone and answered all my questions. I now have my green card so I'm able to work now. I have been a client of Kretz & Romero Law P.C. for about four months. My husband got picked up by ICE in September 2012. I didn't want him to get deported because he had been deported before. I think I called about every immigration attorney I could possibly call and they all told me that they could not help me. Several people told me to call Kretz & Romero. I called and made an appointment with Kretz & Romero and also had another appointment that afternoon with a different immigration attorney that was also referred to me.
