CIR mindset may hinder Republicans.
Lincoln Diaz-Balart a previous United States Representative believes that the GOP will never gain support if they continue to be anti-immigrant with the vast majority of United States citizens. He announced this as the Republican leadership gathered in Miami to try and repair their damaged image, one being immigration. Diaz-Balart also revealed that both the Democrats and Republicans have been working quietly together on a new comprehensive immigration reform package for the past year. He went on to say that the proposal alleviates most of the issues that have plagued immigration. Let us all hope that this coming year brings some type of fix for our broken immigration system.
