Mexican boy killed by Agent, parents sue the United States.

Yesterday a lawsuit was brought against the United States government by the parents of a Mexican teen who was allegedly shot and killed in 2010 by a federal agent. A United States Border Patrol agent that was on American soil fired across the Rio Grande river, which hit and killed a Mexican citizen on his own soil. A  $25 million lawsuit is being brought by the parents of the slain teen. Officials for the Border Patrol deny any wrongdoing and contend that Sergio Hernandez Guereca, 15, was throwing stones at the agents who was on Mexican soil last June when Border Patrol agents open fired on the teen who were on American soil and fatally shot the teen. The parents of the boy have hired an attorney, Bob Hilliard, who denounced the action taken by Border patrol agents and that the real victims here are the dead 15 year old boy and and his family, because of the heinous actions and misjudgment of the agents. The incident was recorded on several cell phones and shown on Univision television network and even posted on the internet. It is uncertain because of the poor quality of the videos from the cell phones if the teen was actually throwing stones or not at the agents during the time of the incident. Also, the lawsuit is seeking to obtain governments tapes of this incident to see if they will help bring justice to this tragedy.
