Tennessee Judge rules for Immigrants.

A Tennessee federal judge has made a ruling that Hispanic employees do not have to disclose their immigration status to their past employer's looking to get back wages. Lawyers for Caryville-based Baird Tree Company are trying to make a racist argument that undocumented immigrants have no right to get money they earned doing work because technically they where not allowed to earn in the beginning. The company was insisting that it should be told who of the over twenty-workers were suing the company, were undocumented. United States Magistrate Judge Bruce Guyton made a ruling in the beginning of this month that workers are entitled to be compensated for the hours they work and that their immigration status has no relevenane in the matter. The company is said to be appealing case and is scheduled for July.
