Victories

Anti-Immigrant advocates want all to do as they say not as they do.

How ironic is it that when the anti-Immigrant advocates don't get what they want they call upon the federal government to come to their aide. What is all the uproar about? Well it steams from an Utah immigrantion law that would allow a 2 year work permits to undocumented immigrants. It would also relax employer sanctions by asking for waivers from the federal government. Also, Utah would permit its citizens to sponsor foreign nationals to reside there. Utah governor Gary Herbert signed this bill into law earlier this week and it is to take effect in 2013 without even the need for the approval of the federal government. The anti-immigrant movement now cries fowl and cites that only the federal government has the exclusive rights to make and regulate immigration law. The same movement even proclaims that states do not have the constitutional rights to make their own immigration laws. It appears that the Arizona immigration type laws that other states so eagerly seek to win does not apply to them.
