Pro-immigration group leads a peaceful immigration reform rally.
A peaceful comprehensive immigration reform demonstration in Laredo, Texas recently brings new vigor for comprehensive immigration reform in Texas. The rally called for the millions of undocumented immigrants from coming out of the shadows in the United States. With the undocumented immigrant community paying taxes, which they will never get back, they still get no action from the federal government on this issue, and vow their voice will grow louder until it will be heard. The rally this year had a topic it focused on in which they were trying to bring to the light of politicians. The message was to make a pathway for the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the country. The orderly rally started in St. Peter's Plaza and ended up in San Agustín Plaza with a ceremony that ended with a rallying cry of we will be heard.
