Republican's vow Utah's guest worker program not going to happen.

The majority of Utah Republican State senators vow a federal waiver for an introduced immigrant guest worker program will not be granted. As you may recall Utah recently passed legislation for a guest worker program and was signed by Governor Gary Herbert (R) in the beginning of this month. What this legislation would do is permit undocumented immigrants to remain in the state if they paid a fine and registered with the state. One of the few Republicans who understands the importance of this bill and is Utah State Representative Bill Wright (R), sponsor of the bill. He commented that it is imperative to get this waiver until the federal government permits it or Congress finally takes on our broken immigration system and puts in place real comprehensive immigration reform.

La mayoría de los senadores republicanos de Utah Estado voto de una exención federal presentó el programa de un inmigrante de trabajadores invitados no se concederá. Comentó que es imprescindible para obtener esta exención hasta el gobierno federal lo permite o el Congreso finalmente asume nuestro sistema roto de inmigración y pone en marcha una verdadera reforma migratoria integral.
