Arizona, Racism or just Stupidity?

In the immortal words of Forrest Gump "I think it is a little of both" Arizona legislators want to build more walls at the Mexico border, even though the federal government has determined it would be too costly to build and maintain. With Arizona going broke and what little money they have left being squandered on their legal battles with their racist immigration law in the courts, this is a real brainchild. This is what they come up with? They scheme up a plan to to get people to donate money for them to build a wall and use prison workforce to do it. If they can scrounge up enough money all they need to do is convince the people that own the land where they want to build the wall to donate it to the state. Yep, so Governor Jan Brewer (R) recently signed a bill that permits a website to be built to take donations. Republicans are banking on donations coming in because people might get a certificate from the state saying they contributed to the construction of the Arizona wall. Senator Steve Smith (R), the sponsor of the bill, commented and I quote, "I think it's going to be a really, really neat thing." Well to quote Forrest again "Stupid is as Stupid does"!
