Arizona Has Collected Little For Their Fence. Part 2

Yesterday, we blogged about how Arizona is trying to have American citizens pay for their ill conceived and racist ideas of building a fence to keep out people crossing their Southern border from Mexico. They hoped to gain sympathy and support in huge numbers but these numbers have yet to materialize as we reported the numbers yesterday. Now with the mastermind of Arizona's SB 1070's racist immigration law thrown out of office in a special election you would think other Republican politicians would be on notice to stop their racists agendas, but alas some people just aren't that smart. Governor Jan Brewer still wants the Supreme Court to appeal this racist law and get it reinstated. Brewer also put her signature on the fencing bill, which is just more money wasted away for her citizens. There is already fencing which presently covers around 650 miles, or one-third, of the 2,000 mile United States, Mexico border. Almost half of this is in Arizona. Of course everyone wants our borders safe and secure but building more border fencing is just a waste of time and money. Even proponents' of building more border fences agree they do not keep anyone out they only slows the traffic. There has to be a better and more effective ways to get this accomplished, not by trying to use using hodge-podge and hair-brained ideas.

La gobernadora Jan Brewer todavía quiere que el Tribunal Supremo de apelar esta ley racista y se restableció. Brewer también puso su firma en el proyecto de ley de esgrima, que es dinero malgastado más justo para sus ciudadanos. Ya hay vallas que actualmente cubre alrededor de 650 millas, o un tercio, de los Estados Unidos 2.000 millas, la frontera con México. Casi la mitad de esto está en Arizona. Por supuesto, todo el mundo quiere nuestras fronteras seguras, pero la construcción de más cerca fronteriza es sólo una pérdida de tiempo y dinero.
