Religious Leaders Sending A Message To NM Legislators.

With over 100 religious leaders all over New Mexico have tendered an open letter to New Mexico state legislators defending the state law that allows undocumented immigrants that reside in New Mexico the ability to get a state driver's licenses. Over a dozen heads of churches and faith affiliations who argued for undocumented immigrants in and open letter earlier this week from bishops, pastors and rabbis making their voices being heard to legislators. In the letter the church leaders denounced the "hate-filled rhetoric" which has filled the debate in hopes to try to get the current law repealed.
