Susana Martinez Says It's All Or Nothing With Driver License Law

At the end of last week Governor Susana Martinez, New Mexico (R) announced after legislators vowed that they would find a workable compromise to the undocumented immigrant driver license issue, she told them to "not waste their time". Martinez made it clear she would veto any legislation that would permit undocumented immigrants to get a New Mexico drivers license. Martinez's stance in this issue is much like a little "brat" kid out on the playground that does not get her way and promptly takes her ball and walks away. This is neither a mature or productive way to govern for the citizens of New Mexico. Martinez then tried to do one better reverting back to her childish tactics issuing a threat to her opposition saying this is an election year and the politicians who do not see things her way will pay the price at the elections booths this year. What the governor fails to forgot is that not everyone agrees with her stance in regards to the driver license issue. In fact citizens of New Mexico are pretty much evenly divided on this issue much like the country is evenly divided on immigration. So governor it works both ways so you may want to watch out who you threaten because it may just come back on you and you could be the one that will be accountable to the voters.

Al final de la semana pasada el gobernador Susana Martínez, de Nuevo México (R) anunció después que los legisladores prometieron que iban a llegar a un compromiso viable al tema de la inmigración indocumentada licencia de conducir, ella les dijo que "no perder el tiempo". Martínez dejó claro que vetaría cualquier legislación que permitiría a los inmigrantes indocumentados obtener una licencia de conducir de Nuevo México. La postura de Martínez en este número es muy similar a un poco de "brat" niño en el patio que no se salga con la suya y rápidamente toma la pelota y se aleja. Esto no es ni una forma madura y productiva para gobernar para los ciudadanos de Nuevo México. Martínez intentó hacer una mejor inversión de nuevo a sus tácticas infantiles emisión de una amenaza a su oposición diciendo que este es un año electoral y los políticos que no ven las cosas a su manera pagarán el precio en las casetas de las elecciones de este año. Lo que el gobernador no olvidó es que no todo el mundo está de acuerdo con su postura en cuanto a la cuestión de la licencia de conducir. De hecho, los ciudadanos de Nuevo México son más o menos divididos sobre esta cuestión al igual que el país se divide por igual en materia de inmigración. Así que el gobernador funciona en ambos sentidos por lo que puede estar atento a que te amenazan, ya que sólo puede venir de nuevo en usted y usted podría ser el que tendrá que rendir cuentas a los votantes.

Hello, I felt compelled to send a letter in the mail and share my experience with Kretz & Romero for anyone looking for a good immigration law firm. I found Kretz & Romero strictly by the internet, when I did a Google search for an immigration attorney in the Roswell area. I was rather impressed by their dominance in the search engines and I was compelled to give them a call especially after reading their testimonial section of their website. I have only been a client of theirs since March of 2011 but have already seen great results after they processed my filing so rapidly. Another big plus for me was being able to be in contact with my attorney (Cathy) if a question came up, that was very important to me. I had heard that the attorneys at Kretz and Romero were great on numerous occasions. I was in need of getting my green card and after talking to family and friends they had also mentioned that they thought I should go see Kretz & Romero to help me to get my green card. Then I saw them on TV and decided to give them a call. After talking to one of the attorneys I felt very comfortable hiring them to help me get my green card. All the staff at Kretz and Romero are very nice and they always answer the phone and answered all my questions. I now have my green card so I'm able to work now. I have been a client of Kretz & Romero Law P.C. for about four months. My husband got picked up by ICE in September 2012. I didn't want him to get deported because he had been deported before. I think I called about every immigration attorney I could possibly call and they all told me that they could not help me. Several people told me to call Kretz & Romero.
