Sheriff Joe's Ideal America

Yes your favorite Sheriff from Arizona papa Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, gave testimony yesterday at his racial-profiling trial in federal district court in Phoenix. The plaintiff's attorneys are heating up the action in the court room against Arpaio. They have been raking him over the coals with a huge amount of damning evidence. A lot of the evidence is coming from official press releases, emails, memos, videos of news conferences, his own deposition and excerpts from one of the sheriff’s own books. All this evidence shows very clearly that Arpaio’s office is on a rampage for brown-skinned immigrants, and will not stop until they are all locked up. As the noose begins to tighten around Arpaio, he started to give subdued and occasionally testy answers to the damning evidence that has been presented one after another. Arpaio admitted, that he said my office was “quickly becoming a full-fledged anti-illegal immigration agency.” That he said "our crackdown was a pure program to go after the illegals and not the crime first.” That he said that most of the Mexicans we arrested were potential swine-flu carriers. That he told Rick Sanchez of CNN and Glenn Beck that we can tell people are illegal immigrants based on the clothes they wear and how they talk. The plaintiff's lawyer then drew attention to an excerpt from Arpaio, in which he said that second and third-generation Mexican immigrants have maintained identities “separate from the American mainstream.” This man is truly evil and needs to pay for his misuse of power.
