Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples Calls For Immigration Reform

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples along with his counterparts that are comprised all over the United States it is just another current sign that the comprehensive immigration reform issue is once again being given serious consideration. Staples, who is a Republican, is championing a plan with agriculture commissioners from 15 southern states and territories. What they are asking for is more legal workers. They are also asking for and a pathway to “conditional status” for immigrants that are here undocumented. Some of the states that are included in this group are Alabama and Georgia. These two states have been hit hard in the agriculture industries because of labor shortages in the wake of racist and bigoted immigration laws in their states. As you may recall President Obama outlined an immigration plan just last year in El Paso, Texas which also would put into place a path to legalize the status for undocumented people in the country, the same proposal that Staples is endorsing. Of course as you probably already know comprehensive immigration reform has stalled because of our severely divided Congress along with an election year. You may also recall that House Judiciary Committee Chair Lamar Smith, R-San Antonio, has balked at the idea of offering status to those here "illegally" saying that “History has proved that granting amnesty to illegal immigrants will only encourage more illegal immigration.” Of course Smith is talking about his parties past Savior, Pres. Ronald Reagan giving amnesty to 3 million undocumented immigrants back in 1986. How soon they forget.

Hello, I felt compelled to send a letter in the mail and share my experience with Kretz & Romero for anyone looking for a good immigration law firm. I found Kretz & Romero strictly by the internet, when I did a Google search for an immigration attorney in the Roswell area. I was rather impressed by their dominance in the search engines and I was compelled to give them a call especially after reading their testimonial section of their website. I have only been a client of theirs since March of 2011 but have already seen great results after they processed my filing so rapidly. I had heard that the attorneys at Kretz and Romero were great on numerous occasions. I was in need of getting my green card and after talking to family and friends they had also mentioned that they thought I should go see Kretz & Romero to help me to get my green card. Then I saw them on TV and decided to give them a call. After talking to one of the attorneys I felt very comfortable hiring them to help me get my green card. All the staff at Kretz and Romero are very nice and they always answer the phone and answered all my questions. I now have my green card so I'm able to work now. I have been a client of Kretz & Romero Law P.C. for about four months. My husband got picked up by ICE in September 2012. I didn't want him to get deported because he had been deported before. I think I called about every immigration attorney I could possibly call and they all told me that they could not help me. Several people told me to call Kretz & Romero. I called and made an appointment with Kretz & Romero and also had another appointment that afternoon with a different immigration attorney that was also referred to me.
