Lack Of Knowledge Can Cost Americans Jobs

Just about the majority of everyone agrees that our immigration system is broken and we are in great need of true comprehensive immigration reform. In sharp contrast it would appear everybody and their brother has an idea on how to fix our E-Verify. Some take the route that the answer is as simple as to just use E-Verify, which stands for electronic employment verification system. They believe that all we have to do is make E-Verify mandatory and this will stop all illegal immigration in its tracks while opening up thousands upon thousands of jobs for the unemployed. Alas, if life was as simple as pure fantasy this problem would've been solved years ago. The E-Verify is no magic cure though and people have either been lied to or grossly misinformed about the program. In fact if E-Verify was made mandatory it could costs Americans and other legal workers their jobs. How in the world could this happen you may ask? Well, if E-Verify was mandatory all employers would be required to submit every new workers information to the electronic employment verification system (DHS) and also Social Security. After that the employer will wait to receive confirmation or a tentative nonconfirmation that the potential worker is able to work in the United States or that extra information is needed before the worker will be authorized to work in the country. Now even with great strides being made in the past years to improve the system it is still very flawed and very reliable. What this means is that American citizens could be in danger of being flagged as unauthorized to work in the United States. People that are at really high risk, women who changed their names after marriage or divorce, United States legal immigrants or people with a hyphen in their name. The number of errors the system could produce is in the hundreds of thousands of American citizens in the United States. Some still say E-Verify is still good at catching the unauthorized workers. In a word, NO. In fact in a recent independent study it showed that 54% of unauthorized workers was able to slip past this system easily with false documents. E-Verify is nothing but a joke and literally useless unless you are a politician looking for votes during an election year.

Hello, I felt compelled to send a letter in the mail and share my experience with Kretz & Romero for anyone looking for a good immigration law firm. I found Kretz & Romero strictly by the internet, when I did a Google search for an immigration attorney in the Roswell area. I was rather impressed by their dominance in the search engines and I was compelled to give them a call especially after reading their testimonial section of their website. I have only been a client of theirs since March of 2011 but have already seen great results after they processed my filing so rapidly. Another big plus for me was being able to be in contact with my attorney (Cathy) if a question came up, that was very important to me. I had heard that the attorneys at Kretz and Romero were great on numerous occasions. I was in need of getting my green card and after talking to family and friends they had also mentioned that they thought I should go see Kretz & Romero to help me to get my green card. Then I saw them on TV and decided to give them a call. After talking to one of the attorneys I felt very comfortable hiring them to help me get my green card. All the staff at Kretz and Romero are very nice and they always answer the phone and answered all my questions. I now have my green card so I'm able to work now. I think if I chose any other immigration attorney my process would have been slower and I wouldn't have my green card already. I have been a client of Kretz & Romero Law P.C. for about four months. My husband got picked up by ICE in September 2012. I didn't want him to get deported because he had been deported before. I think I called about every immigration attorney I could possibly call and they all told me that they could not help me. Several people told me to call Kretz & Romero. I called and made an appointment with Kretz & Romero and also had another appointment that afternoon with a different immigration attorney that was also referred to me.
