NM Governor Susana Martinez Blasts Romney On Immigration

Well New Mexico Gov. Susanna Martinez is back in the headlines once again. This time for a rather unorthodox maneuver where she is criticizing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on his immigration views. Gov. Martinez was questioning what does "Self deport even mean?" She went on to say that she has no doubt that Hispanics and Latinos alike have been alienated during the Republican primaries but this can all be rectified. Gov. Romney must address this issue and have some plan for real comprehensive immigration reform. Martinez believes that the Republicans must cram down the throats of Hispanics and Latinos that president Obama missed on his campaign promise four years ago of getting comprehensive immigration reform passed (like they don't already know this?). I guess the governor has forgotten some minor little issues that were occurring during Pres. Obama's first year in office such as a financial meltdown, the housing and car crisis, two wars just to mention a few little things. In a surprising statement Martinez even said she supported comprehensive immigration reform although it is unclear what type of reform she is talking about. But she went on to say that the GOP wants to be hard on "illegals" and just wish them away. Even Martinez knows this is a much more complex issue than just wishing in one hand and doing something quite different in the other hand and seeing which one fills up first. I must say Martinenez is still touting the Republican rhetoric of increasing border security when in fact just recently reports showed that there is no illegal crossings going on currently. Thanks in part to president Obama more boots on the ground policy in the border states. We do have to give the governor kudos for her stance on wanting a guestworker program for people who want to go back and forth to work. Also, she is in favor of some sort of DREAM Act legislation for a pathway to citizenship as well as a way for other undocumented immigrants to stay in the United States and pursue a legal way to get naturalized.

Hello, I felt compelled to send a letter in the mail and share my experience with Kretz & Romero for anyone looking for a good immigration law firm. I found Kretz & Romero strictly by the internet, when I did a Google search for an immigration attorney in the Roswell area. I was rather impressed by their dominance in the search engines and I was compelled to give them a call especially after reading their testimonial section of their website. I have only been a client of theirs since March of 2011 but have already seen great results after they processed my filing so rapidly. Another big plus for me was being able to be in contact with my attorney (Cathy) if a question came up, that was very important to me. I had heard that the attorneys at Kretz and Romero were great on numerous occasions. I was in need of getting my green card and after talking to family and friends they had also mentioned that they thought I should go see Kretz & Romero to help me to get my green card. Then I saw them on TV and decided to give them a call. After talking to one of the attorneys I felt very comfortable hiring them to help me get my green card. All the staff at Kretz and Romero are very nice and they always answer the phone and answered all my questions. I now have my green card so I'm able to work now. I think if I chose any other immigration attorney my process would have been slower and I wouldn't have my green card already. I have been a client of Kretz & Romero Law P.C. for about four months. My husband got picked up by ICE in September 2012. I didn't want him to get deported because he had been deported before. I think I called about every immigration attorney I could possibly call and they all told me that they could not help me. Several people told me to call Kretz & Romero.
