Intel shelled out a million dollars on lobbying in October, Novemeber and December of 2009. This number almost doubled their past monies spent in the same time period buy the biggest microprocessor maker. Intel has increased lobbying as the push for high-speed Internet positioning has gotten to be a huge issue for lawmakers and technology businesses. It would stand to reason that Intel would gain from more Internet connections all over the globe because more people will purchase even more machines that has Intel chips in them to access the internet. Intel has also sought after lobbyists to get some form of comprehensive immigration reform passed. Technology businesses will typically lobby for rules that take away restrictions to employ skilled foreign workers in America. Intel had given out nearly $600,000 on lobbying in the last quarter of 2008. Intel Corporation is the largest microprocessor maker on the globe.

| Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has denounced Arizona Trespassing Law. |

The major issue with the bill surpasses the trespass restriction. Which has wording that would make law enforcement to look at the immigration status of anyone that they stop. All these laws do is put the problem else, where other police departments in other communities have to set their own standards. Napolitano commented that is no fix and only makes a one dimensional resolution to law enforcement that does not fit other areas of the country. This bill is being pushed by Sen. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa, and Rep. David Gowan, R-Sierra Vista. There idea is to end what they call “sanctuary policies’’ in certain areas of the the state where law enforcement have been banned from checking peoples immigration status. The Secretary of Homeland Security also questions the legitimacy of the bill. One troubling aspect of the bill is having local law enforcement arresting anyone being an undocumented immigrant which is a federal immigration law and trying to use a state offense of trespassing. In the end, the courts may have to make a deterination on this matter, she commented.

| Arizona passes a new bill to deal with undocumented immigrants. |

Politicians in Arizona trying to find a way to turn around the unemployment rates in the state. The Arizona bill calls for undocumented immigrants to be arraigned for trespassing as a method to curtail the state’s unemployment problem and get Arizona citizens back off the unemployment lines. The new bill, the most oppressive in the United States, would ban undocumented immigrants from living in Arizona. The Arizona politicians have picked this war and will probably sign it into law that basically makes it a criminal offense for over 450,000 undocumented immigrants residing in Arizona. The bill permits police officers to hold people on the mere suspicion that they are undocumented immigrants. It also totally makes it a criminal offense for anyone to employ day laborers and move undocumented immigrants anywhere in Arizona.

The numbers are in for the March 21 rally in the nation's capital. It is estimated over 200,000 people of all races and nationalities converged together last Sunday to prompt the nation's lawmakers and the President not to forget them or the promise of comprehensive immigration reform by the end of this year. They want the President to make good on his pledge to get comprehensive immigration reform passed. Everyone realizes that to make this a reality the lawmakers need to get on this important issue as soon as possible.

Very recently, more voices have joined the call for immigration reform. Politicians for the GOP who understand that disregarding immigration reform will hurt the future of their own party. In lew of simply demanding for immigration reform, the GOP makes President Obama the scapegoat for not delivering on his campaign promise of bringing immigration reform in his first year. This plays in their hands two useful ways, they hope to bring more Latino voters over to their side without really dividing their base. Many hardcore Republicans are all too eager to put the blame for the countrys problems (many of which he inherited from the Bush Administration) at the President’s doorstep. But it appears that things may be turning around, especially if it means a chance to make the President look bad on immigration reform. An ever growing number of Republicans have come right out and said that their party must reverse its course on Hispanics and immigration. This is really important in the upcoming midterm elections. Earlier in the week, the Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele totally agrees and even went so far as to meet with a Pro-immigration advocacy organization. I might add he did this after they held a sit-in, but he did say he was disheartened with the disturbing ranting of his party on immigration reform. Is this just a bloy to get in GOP voters are real change in their party? Time will tell.

A number of organizations, the latest being AMI have combined together in alliance to endorse Senators Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on their comprehensive immigration reform package. The senators are working on a draft to a bill for a fair and balanced, bipartisan bill. There is only one way to deal with undocumented immigration and that is to make an immigration system that is truely functional. In a nutshell, this is the simpliest and most effective way to protect our borders. Not to mention the ability of ending the agony of families being pulled apart and the social expense that comes from undocumented immigration.

| Napolitano still believes in Immigration Reform |

The Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, had a meeting last week with interested parties of Comprehensive immigration. Their discussion was about how to put into place fixes for the broken system immgration system and make it better. The participants of the meeting were members of Congress, members from religious organizations, police officiers, business and labor and Pro-immigration groups. Ms.Napolitano showed her support to the individuals at the meeting to feel free to give their input and ideas to fix the broken immigration system. She stressed the point that they needed to work together with the Department of Homeland Security and immigration advocates. If you recall, Ms. Napolitano delivered her speech last December and talked about all the successes of the Department of Homeland Security. She spoke of how her department made historic steps to prosecute immigration laws and made better immigration services and benefits to the huge amount of lawful immigrants each year. Ms. Napolitano commented that the immigration system is still dysfunctional and has been neglected for too long. Ms. Napolitano wants to start moving forward and work with President, Senators Graham and Schumer, others in Congress, and immigration advocates to make a better immigration system.

| Tens of Thousands showed up for Rally in D.C. |

Pro-Immigration advocates from all over the United States marched in D.C. for comprehensive immigration reform. Many in the crowd waved U.S. flags and grasping banners with phrases, in both English and Spanish such as "Legalization yes, deportation no." About 1/2 hour after the march began at 2 p.m., almost 4 full blocks on the mall was backed with a sea of humanity. Designers of the event estimate tens of thousands of people had arrived from around the United States for the rally, which was promoted by a numerous communities, labor and church organizations. Supporters of immigration reform have been disappointed by the Obama administrations slow action for comprehensive immigration reform. President Obama's has recently stated that he will do everything possible to fix the broken immigration system. The organizers of the event pray Sunday's rally will re-ignite the Congress effort.

| President Obama supports rough draft to Immigration Fix. |

The President while receiving harsh words from Pro-immigration reform advocates, promised last Thursday to do what ever he could to get immigration legislation started this year. The draft by Senators Schumer D-N.Y. and Graham R-S.C. would make undocumented immigrants own up that they defied the law, make a monetary reparation encluding any previous taxes owed. Also, they would have to complete community service to proceed with becoming a legal citizens. In addition they would have to be cleared for background checks and be capable of speaking English. The President's announcement and the senators' draft were planned to be announced before an organized rally on March 21, 2010. This event may draw as many as one-hundred thousand people to Washington, D.C. to pressure the administration and Congress to enact comprehensive immigration reform. Some other key points of the Schumer-Graham draft are:
* Allowing legal permanent residence to persons who have received a Master's or Doctoral degree with a from United States University.
* Taking a zero tolerance stand for undocumented immigrants who have commit a crime(s) and extending prosecution of immigration laws.
* Making a pliable legal immigration system that encourages more less-skilled laborers when work is available and less in a recession.
* Make every United States employee, citizens and legal immigrants be required to have a fraud-proof Social Security card with a biometric identification.

| Another Immigration Raid in Arizona. |

The Sheriff's department in Maricopa County started a two-day raid for illegal activities and immigration violations yesterday. Deputies and nearly 400 vigilantes will participate in the searches which the federal government has banned Sheriff Arpaio from enforcing any immigration laws. The sheriff has conducted around 15 of these searches since the beginning of 2008. Amidst the searches the law enforcement officers and vigilantes saturate a section in the city which are usually heavily populated with Hispanics. They use the pretense of looking for traffic infractions and other crimes. Opponents to Arpaio's tactics say his department have racially profiled Hispanics and Latinos. The sheriff states that his officiers only question people with probable cause that may have committed crimes.

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) was gratified by President Obama's statement that he is still committed to comprehensive immigration reform. The President remains dedicated, and he will continue with overhauling the immigration system this year if he can gain essential Republican backing. After engaging with Senator Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York, and Senator Lindsey Graham Republican of South Carolina recently, President Obama announced that he will carry on to champion the fight for a proposal to fix our broken immigration system. Bernie Wolfsdorf, President of AILA was happy to hear that President Obama is totally committed to pass immigration reform. As our current United States immigration exists now, the immigration crisis greatly weakens our national stake by curbing economic development, thwarting family reuniting, and changing foreign policy mission. Pro-immigration advocates and AILA is keeping its fingers crossed that these talks are just the first to a revitalize bipartisan undertaking and priority on solving the United States broken immigration system. We all understand that there are other issues that our country's lawmakers are presently encountering such the healthcare issue. A medida que nuestra actual de Estados Unidos la inmigración existe en la actualidad, la crisis de la inmigración en gran medida debilita nuestra participación nacional por frenar el desarrollo económico, impidiendo la reunificación familiar, y el cambio de la misión de política exterior. Pro-defensores de la inmigración y la AILA es mantener los dedos cruzados para que estas conversaciones son sólo los primeros a una empresa de revitalizar los dos partidos y la prioridad en la solución de los Estados Unidos el sistema de inmigración roto. Todos entendemos que hay otras cuestiones que los legisladores de nuestro país están tropezando como la cuestión de la salud. Para que avance la reforma integral de inmigración del Presidente y los legisladores tienen que venir para arriba con una política definida real de que el público pueda adoptar.

It seems a day does not go by without my being asked in an initial consulations whether or not there will be an anmesty. If there is, who will be eligible? What will the requirements be? How will it effect the people who have been waiting decades to legalize their status? How much it will cost? How long will it take for someone to obtain permanent resident status? The simple and plain truth is that no one knows. We have all heard, over and over again that the President wants some form of immigration reform. But there has been no headway made yet or any solid and definitive information as to what that reform will look like if anything. Currently the Obama Administration is starting up talks for comprehensive immigration reform with Senators on both sides of the aisles. The only thing I can tell people is to save the proof they have been living in the United States for however long they have been here. To live as law abiding citizens. That means no DWI's, no domestic violence, no involvement with drugs, no stealing, etc. There is no way to know what will be forthcoming in the world of immigration law. Hopefully there will be some sort of meaningful change that will improve the lives of those who have done nothing wrong but be born in a different country.

AMNISTIA Parece un día no pasan sin que yo le preguntó en una Consultas inicial o no habrá una amnistía. Pero no ha habido avances logrados todavía o cualquier información sólida y definitiva en cuanto a lo que la reforma se verá como si nada. Actualmente, la Administración de Obama se está iniciando conversaciones para la reforma integral de inmigración con los senadores de ambos lados de los pasillos. Lo único que puedo decirle a la gente es salvar a las pruebas que han estado viviendo en los Estados Unidos por el tiempo que han estado aquí. Para vivir como ciudadanos respetuosos de la ley. Eso significa que no DWI, no la violencia doméstica, sin ninguna implicación con las drogas, no robar, etc No hay forma de saber qué va a ser próximamente en el mundo de la ley de inmigración. Cabe esperar que habrá algún tipo de cambios significativos que mejoren la vida de aquellos que no han hecho nada mal, pero haber nacido en un país diferente.

Nothing is more heartbreaking to me as an immigration attorney then seeing young people who are full of possibilities and not being able to reach their true potential due to no fault of their own. Of course, I am talking about children who have been brought to the United States at a young age, some times just days old. They have grown up in this country, gone to school here, made friends here and all their experiences and loyalties are to this country. They are Americans in every true sense of the word, they were just born in another country. I think everyone can agree they had no say in that matter. I see this all the time, high school kids who are straight "A" students and have been offered full scholarships to Colleges and Universities in the United States and even in other countries. Their dreams are to become doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, scientists and other admirable professions. They simply cannot realize their dreams because their parents brought them into the United States illegally and they have no way to legalize their status and continue their education with the current U.S. immigration system we have today. The resources and money that was spent educating them and the positive things they could do for our country are lost all due to something they had no control over. As children they had no choice where their parents took them to live and they certainly had no choice but to remain here in the United States. It is completely illogical to think that a child who has grown up here, speaks English, reads and writes English is going to return to their country of birth where they know no one, have no familiarity to the culture and are not fluent enough in the language spoken in that country to survive. That is simply ridiculous and unrealistic to ask anyone to put themselves in that situation. The DREAM ACT is the solution to this problem. It would allow young people in this situation to legalize their status and benefit themselves and our country. They would have to prove they have been in the United States a cerrtain amount of time, that they have no criminal issue and that they want to continue onto higher education or enlisting in the military. If they could do this, they could become active citizens in the futher developement of our country.

DREAM ACT
Nada es más doloroso para mí como un abogado de inmigración después de ver a los jóvenes que están llenos de posibilidades y no ser capaz de alcanzar su verdadero potencial debido a causas ajenas a su voluntad. Por supuesto, estoy hablando de niños que han sido traídos a los Estados Unidos a una edad temprana, a veces sólo unos días de edad. Han crecido en este país, fueron a la escuela aquí, hizo amigos aquí y todas sus experiencias y las lealtades son a este país. Son los estadounidenses en todo el sentido verdadero de la palabra, se les acaba de nacer en otro país. Creo que todos podemos estar de acuerdo que no tenía voz en esa materia. Veo esto todo el tiempo, los niños de secundaria que son rectas "A" los estudiantes y se han ofrecido becas completas a colegios y universidades en los Estados Unidos e incluso en otros países. Sus sueños se conviertan en médicos, abogados, ingenieros, profesores, científicos y otros profesionales admirables. Ellos simplemente no pueden cumplir sus sueños, porque sus padres los trajeron a Estados Unidos ilegalmente y no tienen forma de legalizar su situación y continuar su educación con el sistema de corriente de los EE.UU. de inmigración que tenemos hoy. Los recursos y el dinero que se gastó la educación de ellos y las cosas positivas que podían hacer para que nuestro país se han perdido todo debido a algo que no tenía ningún control. Como los niños no tenían otra opción donde sus padres los llevaron a vivir y, ciertamente, no tenían otra opción que permanecer aquí en los Estados Unidos. Es completamente ilógico pensar que un niño que ha crecido aquí, habla Inglés, lee y escribe en Inglés va a regresar a su país de nacimiento, donde no conocen a nadie, no tienen familiaridad con la cultura y no se habla lo suficiente en la idioma hablado en ese país para sobrevivir. Eso es sencillamente ridículo y poco realista pedir a nadie que ponerse en esa situación. El Acta DREAM es la solución a este problema. Esto permitiría a los jóvenes en esta situación para legalizar su situación y beneficiarse a sí mismos y de nuestro país. Tendrían que demostrar que han estado en los Estados Unidos una cantidad cerrtain de tiempo, que no tienen ningún problema penal y que desean continuar en la educación superior o alistarse en el ejército. Si pudieran hacerlo, podrían convertirse en ciudadanos activos en el desarrollo posterior de nuestro país.

President Obama announced last week that he would continue with a fix to the immigration system this year if he could entice enough GOP support. But a Head Republican who backs an immigration system fix announced that an immigration bill could not proceed if the president used a legislative tactic by going around Republicans to pass his health care bill. The president used the majority of the afternoon in meetings on immigration. This involved one with Senator Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York, and Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina. They have been working on a bill over the last 6 months to fix the immigration system. They gave the president a 3 page brief of the large bill they are drafting up, and they asked for the presidents help to get more GOP sponsors in the Senate. The Obama administration setup the meetings to demonstrate its ongoing comittment to fix the immigration problem. This issue has been neglected for far too long and has prompted a rally that immigrant groups have called for on March 21 in Washington, D.C. Pro immigration advocates that want to see immigration legislation passed this year, have banned together for a total show of force with a turnout, which is estamated to be around One hundred thousand people. Mr. Graham, announced he had informed the president that the immigration debate could come to a sudden stop this year if the president tried to pass the health care bill by reconciliation, which would require only a majority of 51 senators contrary to the 60 that would normally be needed and which would basically need no GOP votes. In another meeting, President Obama meet for a considerable time with leading immigrant groups from all walks of life who support an immigration fix that would make millions of undocumented immigrants legal. The majority of the advocates left with raised spirts from the meeting with the president. They said that President Obama detailed eye opening issues to the political problems of an immigration bill this year, coming after the ongoing fight over health care. The president said that immigration reform could not succeed without support from GOP Legislators in place in advance. The President reaffirmed his committment to comprehensive immigration reform and to fix the broken immigration system.

| Utah ratifies Immigration bill. |

A number of Utah companies would need to prove the immigration status of workers from a bill enacted by the Utah Legislature. The first version had criminal punishment for not complying to verify worker status but those were taken out by the bill's sponsor, Republican Sen. Chris Buttars of West Jordan. Legislators voted 46-24 to adopt Senate Bill 251 on last week. It will be sent to Governor Gary Herbert's office. Detractors say the bill has no real power to enforce the law if it is broken. A private business with Fifteen or more employees would be banned from employing new workers post 07/01/2010 without checking their immigration status. Various states demand companies to utilize the federal E-Verify program. The Web-based process verifies an employees data versus federal databases to establish United States employment acceptability.

The Attorney General office in New York has triumphantly masterminded a campaign cracking down on deceit and the misleading of " immigration consultants" who impose on unaware and susceptible immigrants. In a current news release, Mr. Cuomo the Attorney General, announced his department will continue to pursue legal action against individuals involved with immigration fraud. A current win in the battle against immigration fraud was made public by Mr. Cuomo's department in the begining on this month. His office was granted a court judgment of more than Three million dollars regarding a "consultant" in Queens, New York that had sought out and deceived immigrants. In this instance, the "consultant" regularly demanded a retainer of Seven thousand dollars with additional fees often going as high as Fifteen thousand dollars per client for the assurance of recieving permanent residence. The consultant falsely claimed that she would be able to get her clients permanent resident status through alleged associations with government authorities. Needless to say, the services were never carried out and the consultant regularly denied to returned her clients money or give back their documents. The New York Supreme Court awarded the Thirty-seven families full restitution and directed the consultant to pay. Over Two and Half million dollars was added in penalities for contracting in the illegitimate practice of law and the fabrication of services that could be done. Also, the consultant is permanently banned in any way from working in the business of immigration-related services.

While President Barack Obama talks over comprehensive immigration reform (CIR) with Congress, it is essential to remember that CIR would produce a greatly needed lift to the American economy. Opposite to the beliefs of some people, immigration is an financial asset that can be utilized to be both benefitial to immigrants and native-born workers. A CIR package that has a passageway to give legal status for undocumented immigrants already in America, this package would give increased salary. Therefore their purchasing power and tax contributions, which would support hundreds of thousands of American jobs at a time of high unemployment, and generate billions of dollars in government income at a time with huge budget shortfall. A couple of recent studies show that the economic benefits would be huge. The Immigration Policy Center and the Center for American Progress, has determined that CIR would add one and half trillion dollars to the Gross Domestic Product to Americas economy over the next ten years. In less than five years the increased pay the newly legal citizen workers would produce even new spending to support Seven hundred and fifty thousand to Nine hundred thousand jobs in America. Not to mention the added taxes collected of Four and half billion to almost Five and half billion dollars. Another study from Southern California researchers, determined that Sixteen billion dollars in annual revenue to California alone. Also, they calculated that legalizing undocumented immigrants could strengthen Social Security and Medicare taxes by an increase of over Two billion dollars annually.

| Catholic Bishops balk on Arizona Immigration Law. |

The Bishops of the Catholic Conference of Arizona are denouncing the proposed law making Arizona the only state in America to criminalize the existence of undocumented immigrants. The proposed legislation, now being looked over at the state Legislature, would direct law enforcement to try to discover people's immigration standing when there's credible doubt they may be an undocumented immigrant. The Catholic bishops in Phoenix, Tucson and Gallup, N.M. agree with many others that this legislation could be counter productive and make undocumented immigrants fearful to report crimes. If this happens it could potentially assist in some violent criminals to remain on the streets. The religious leaders also commented that making the existence of undocumented immigrants a criminal offense it could lead to unforeseen repercussion. The Religious leaders also say that this proposed law does not stop just at enforcement, so law enforcement could potentially make the presence of kids illegal.

The Leader of the Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform discussed Immigration Reform last Saturday. Mr. Staunton delivered a inspiring address at an ILIR gathering in Denver where he encouraged Irish Americans to recall that the Irish make up around Fifty thousand of the Twelve million undocumented immigrants in America. He also reminded that immigration reform was not about a limited interest of any one race or nationality; it is all about people who want to live the American Dream. The Irish community has a huge stack in immigration reform as any other community does. Mr. Staunton also pointed out that the Denver population alone represents Fifteen percent of some sort of Irish blood in them. Currently, there is no way for Irish people to bring family members over to work and live the American Dream.

| Obama looking to get Immigration bill started. |

President Obama has started to concentrate on immigration, next week he will meet with two Senators at the White House to draft up a bill on this problem. Nicholas Shapiro the White House spokesperson announced the President will convene with Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York and Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina on Monday. The President is anxious to hear and discuss ideas for a bipartisan bill on the immigration issue, said Shapiro. The gathering will be the first the President has had with the two Senators on their outline that they have been cultivating since last year. The immigration issue was put on the back burner because of the sagging economy and health care issues since Obama took office last January. President Obama promised as a candidate that he would take on the immigration issue in his first year of office and many immigrants and advocates have been disappointed by the his lack of action so far. A number of community organizations are preparing to let out some steam of their discouaragement with a news conference on Monday in Washington. The organizations are trying to encourage tens of thousands of people from around the United States for a March 21 rally in Washington. Shapiro said, President Obama is committed to repairing the country's outdated and ineffective immigration system and he stands steadfast.

Presidente Obama como candidato prometió que iba a tomar sobre la cuestión de la inmigración en su primer año de mandato y muchos inmigrantes y los defensores se han sentido decepcionados por la falta de acción de su hasta ahora. Un número de organizaciones de la comunidad se están preparando para dejar salir un poco de vapor de sus discouaragement con una conferencia de prensa el lunes en Washington. Las organizaciones están tratando de alentar a decenas de miles de personas de todo Estados Unidos durante un mitin 21 de marzo en Washington. One of the greatest contributions of immigrants is to help the American Society grow stronger and raise the economy, all the while increasing the standard of living for every United States citizen. Immigrants are also essential to America because: (A) Immigrants are generally higher risk takers and are more apt to be modivated and more productive workers. It takes a lot of courage to move you and your family to a different country to better your life for your family. (B) Immigrants usually come to this country at around 28 years old which is at their peak working years. (C) Immigrants usually take on jobs that are in high demand and need filling, this usually helps fill those jobs that American workers do not want. (D) Many immigrants have a vast amount of knowledge in the trade industry and are not afraid of hard work regardless of their skill level. (F) Most immigrant children do very well in their academics as well as in the general population.

The news has reported about the Tea Party Convention first meeting in Tennesse from a handful of gathers. They sat and listened to racism and hate speeches. Cries of Obama is turning America into a third world county, the country is being over run by immigrants, we need top take our country back from those people, the government loves illegals and it goes on and on. This hatred towards the Hispanics and Latinos these days seems ever more present today. The Tea Party basic belief that any immigrant is what is bring down this country is just one of their rallying cries. Well if the Tea Partiers think the Hispanic and Latino people are going to lay down and take this kind of abuse they better rethink their stragey over. Cuéntame has started getting the message out if "Tea Partiers" want to try and blame the Hispanic and Latino community for the countrys problems they are sadly mistaken. They can not use hatred and racism as a means to help their twisted political agenda. Cuéntame and the Hispanic and Latino communities will not stand for it and be quiet or dormant any longer.

Bueno, si el Partiers té que el pueblo hispano / latino va a establecer y adoptar este tipo de abuso que mejor repensar sus stragey más. Cuéntame ha comenzado a hacer llegar el mensaje si "Té Partiers" quiere tratar de culpar a la comunidad hispana y latina de los problemas Paises que están tristemente equivocados. No pueden usar el odio y el racismo como un medio para ayudar a su agenda política retorcida. Cuéntame y las comunidades hispana y latina no se presentará para ello y estar tranquilo o inactivos por más tiempo.

| Ben Bernanke pushing Government to Fix Immigration System. |

Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke meet with the Housing and Urban Affairs Committee recently. He talked about addressing the broken immigration system as a key componet to fixing this problem and that Congress should tackle this issue to improve the nation's sluggish economy. He also commented that he has problems getting this issue resolved. That the current immigration system greatly hampers highly trained immigrants from migrating to the United States. And that this is the kind of personnel that will help the high tech sector be more competive through out the globe.

With a Law Enforcement helicopter circling above, Sheriff Joe Arpaio stood behind a group of law enforcement officers as Ten thousand marchers walked past the county jail complex where the sheriff uses strong arm tactics and brutal polcies on immigration. The demonstrators mainly consisted of Latinos and Hispanics showing their disapproval of the Sherriff's policies. His approval rating continues to plummet which is presently just below 40%. His detractors are spurred on by a federal grand jury that is looking into possible abuse of powers against the Sheriff and another federal investigation which is looking into his immigration enforcement policies which had been stripped away from him.
