Office News

Decemeber 2011

Dear Client:

As 2012 approaches, there are some new and exciting changes for our office! Our goal is to better serve our clients in the crazy world of immigration!

A law office goes through many changes, but the one thing that you can be sure never changes are your attorneys, Caterina S. Kretz and Mary Ann Romero. They are here to represent you with your immigration case. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Cathy or Mary Ann.

Imelda Sandoval is the voice that comforts you when you call the office. She has answered your calls for years and will continue to do so for many more years to come.

Josephine Vasiljevic works with our office to get your waivers done and cares about your waivers as if it were her own case.

Cristina De La Cruz is our new legal assistant. She is excited about working with our firm because she believes in the rights of immigrants. Cristina knows the immigration process and what it takes to get a case done. She is committed to making sure that your case is handled in a friendly and professional manner.

Erica Coss-Duran will also be joining our team. She wants to go to law school one day to help immigrant clients and is starting now by becoming a new legal assistant in the office. She has worked at other legal offices and can’t wait to meet all of you.

Cathy Hepler will continue to manage your accounts in the office.

Our sad news is that as of December 22, 2011, our legal assistant, Carolina Urrutia, will be leaving the office and moving to Califorrnia. We will miss her very much but wish her luck in her new adventures.

Please remember our new office hours: Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, closed from 12pm to 1pm.

Thank you very much for your support throughout the years! Happy Holidays!

October 2011

Dear Clients,

Our office has decided to change its office hours! Starting November 7, 2011, our office will be open from Monday – Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, closed for lunch from 12pm to 1pm. WE WILL NO LONGER BE OPEN ON SATURDAYS. Our last Saturday will be October 29, 2011.

We made this decision in an effort to better serve our clients. All immigration agencies are open from Monday – Friday and by having the same schedule we will be able to better serve you as we are working on your cases. Although we recognize that this may be an inconvenience for some of our clients, we want to remind you that Cathy, Mary Ann, and the staff are always available to you. We have a slot in the door where documents can be dropped off 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our fax machine is also on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We can also be reached on the phone and thru email. Our office will continue to provide you with the attention and service that we have always provided you. The change in our office hours will not affect your case or the processing of your case with our office or the immigration agencies in any way. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you

June 2009

We at Kretz & Romero, P.C. are very happy to announce the launch of our website in mid June of 2009. From its conception the partners, Caterina S. Kretz & Mary Ann Romero at Kretz & Romero, P.C. wanted to do more then just put out a token advertisement page on the internet for their website. They wanted to create a website that was truly useful for their clients. They also wanted potential clients to see that they truly value their clients needs and spare nothing to help them in their immigration needs. We think our services speak for themselves to the dedication we have to our clients immigration needs. Here are some features we offer on our website:

Client Login section: This section is still under construction but this is where clients will be able to login to a secure site and review the progress of their case online in the privacy of their own home. The information is on a secure server so you can be rest assured your information is safe.

Payments Online section: We have many clients that do not live in the Albuquerque area or that live out of the state of New Mexico. With the cost of gas and postage on the rise we felt this service was extremely important that we make it available for any of our clients be able to make payments online if they chooce to do so. This eliminates having to make a payment via mail or drive to our office in person. This function has a 128 bit security certificate so your transaction is secure.

Spanish section: Being locate in the "Land of Enchantment" great state of New Mexico we do have a large population of clients that are of hispanic decent so we felt it extremely important to have the site bilingual in both English and Spanish.

Google Translator section: We are very proud that we have people from all over the world and nationalities as our clients. For this reason we added the Google translator tool so that our clients or potential clients from other nationalities that may not speak or read English as their first language, can easily convert our web pages to their native language. We would like to say that the translator, translates verbatim in certain circumstances. Even at present the most advanced software, doesn't come close to the fluency of a native speaker or have the capacity of a professional translator. Instant translation is very challenging, because the interpretation of words depends on the way in which they are used. It may be awhile before anyone can provide human quality translations but we hope you find this tool useful for most purposes.

Blog section: This section is written about current news articles, immigration news, pertinent news about our office, pretty much anything we think our clients may want to read about is fair game in this section.

Immigration News section: This section is a link to other current immigration news of the day.

Besides the excellent service we provide our clients from our professional staff regarding your immigration case we truly do put our money where our mouth is on the quality and types of services we provide for our clients. Our office is truly comitted in helping imigrants because most of our staff have family or friends that have went through the immigration process. When you are on your quest of finding an immigration attorney these may be some things to concider when determing your attorney.

We are very proud of our website and we want to extend a big Thank You to Scorpion Design with the beautiful design and function of our website.
