Imelda Sandoval, Receptionist

Imelda Sandoval was born in Durango, Mexico and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Imelda has been employed with Kretz & Romero P.C. since March 2007 and has been working in the immigration field since 2003. Imelda is the primary receptionist at Kretz & Romero and greets new and existing clients and helps direct them to the proper resources with their immigration issues. Imelda provides legal support to staff members by assisting with document preparation and data entry. Along with her receptionist duties, Imelda also processes N-400 applications, temporary protected status (TPS), extensions work permits, travel documents and I-751 applications. Imelda is a fluent English and Spanish speaker.

Alexandra Blodget is a native of Oregon. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Oregon in June 2004. Alexandra also received Departmental Honors from the University of Oregon and accumulated a G.P.A. of 3.9. Before securing a position with the Law Offices of Kretz & Romero, P.C. Alexandra was a legal assistant in another law firm in Oregon. Some of her previous duties included: answering telephones, scheduling appointments, interpreting for the attorneys, translation of certificates, declarations and other documents and preparing immigration forms for cancellation of removal, asylum, consular processing and adjustment of status. Alexandra is fluent in both English and Spanish. Alexandra is excited about making New Mexico her home and a new career at Kretz & Romero, P.C.
Rosario Ruiz, Paralegal

Rosario Ruiz is a native of Texas. Rosario has received numerous degrees which includes a MA Juris Doctor of Law from the Massachusetts School of Law in 1997, a Houston Texas Paralegal Certificate from Southwestern Paralegal Institute in 1991 and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas in 1990. Before acquiring a position with Kretz & Romero, P.C. Rosario has held a wide range of jobs in the legal field. Rosario's most recent postion was a law clerk with the U.S. Courts in El Paso, Texas where she managed the Magistrate's civil docket. Some of her duties included handling complex social security appeals, section 1983 and prisoner civil matters, and nondispositive discovery matters. Rosario also managed all aspects of cases from time of referral to completion of report and recommendation. Rosario is fluent in both English and Spanish. Rosario is excited about making New Mexico her home and a new career at Kretz & Romero, P.C.
Josephine Vasiljevic, Paralegal

A native New Mexican, Josephine Vasiljevic has been affiliated with the office of Kretz & Romero P.C. since 2007 and has been involved with the immigration law community since June 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico. Josephine aspires to obtain an MBA from the Anderson School of Management and to continue to work on an international level in the future. Josephine’s niche in the immigration law field is in family-based immigration. At Kretz & Romero P.C. she serves as a case manager, liaison and advocate on behalf of her clients to an international immigration community. She prides herself in knowing that she is helping to reunite deserving families from every corner of the globe. Although English is Josephine’s native language, she is also fluent in Spanish, semi-fluent in French and attained a level of conversational Serbo-Croat skills while living in Eastern Europe.
